How does Pack 1714 help to make Mountain View Elementary beautiful? We volunteer to help one of the Mountain View teachers spread pine straw and mulch around the trees on a hot summer day. The scouts and their parents volunteered for a second year to help make sure the school is looking it’s best for the upcoming school year. By helping out, it is building pride knowing they worked hard making their school look beautiful. Their reward towards the end was a nice cold popsicle to cool down from all the work they have accomplished.
